Humble beginnings
It started with one beard, one problem, and a stubborn refusal to settle.
Beard Octane was first conceived in 2017 when Joe went looking for a beard care product that actually nourished his beard and performed the way it promised. Too many big-box options felt watered down, full of fillers, or built to look good on a shelf instead of doing the job.
So Joe did what Joe tends to do: he got obsessed. Late nights, long hours, research, testing, reformulating, and plenty of personal sacrifice led to a line of handcrafted products made with purpose. Beard Octane launched on July 4, 2018, and what began in a spare bedroom has grown into a family-run manufacturing facility in Colchester, Connecticut.
