The Team here at Beard Octane will always keep you in the loop regarding any product updates and/or service changes. Well, this is one of those times! We all know the hand grenade of a year that 2020 was with the global pandemic, and the horrific holiday shipping delays experienced last year. This year we are trying to stay ahead of the slow down, in hopes of preventing any shipping delays. With that being said, USPS has announced that all shipping rates will increase for the holiday season. In addition, since they will be charging more, they will be SLOWING down their shipping service times due to the increased shipping volumes. This will (and already has) affect any/all USPS shipping services, to include; First Class Shipping and Priority Mail Shipping.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE understand that this has ZERO to do with our order fulfillment and/or customer service. Trust us when we say, we want nothing more for you to receive your order as quickly as possible. Here at Beard Octane, we do not operate like a normal 9-5 business. We are fulfilling orders at all times of the morning and night, as we do our very best to get orders out the same, if not the very next day!
ACCORDING TO USPS (not us!)
- Priority Mail, which is typically a 2-3 business day shipping time (not including weekends and holidays) will be slowing down to AT LEAST 5 BUSINESS DAYS!
- First Class Mail, which is typically 3-5 business day shipping time (not including weekends and holidays) may take UP TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS to arrive!
SHIPPING STATUS UPDATE ISSUES
If you have selected USPS as your shipping method and you do not receive a tracking update (location scans, movement on packages) after 10 Business Days, please contact us with your order number, and we will do our best to assist. PLEASE understand that again, this is out of our control. We do not have any additional resources in tracking down the exact location of your package than you do. Therefore, if you need a product location/status update, please contact USPS directly. We can not send a shipment replacement until a shipment has been officially marked as missing, lost, stolen, and/or damaged.
In an attempt to provide possible solutions, we have added both UPS and FedEx as additional shipping services. We understand that these shipping carriers may cost slightly more than traditional shipping by USPS, but they may be more reliable when it comes to receiving your packages in a timely manner.
ADDITIONAL PROTECTION AVAILABLE
We currently offer additional shipping insurance, which is available on the shopping cart page. Is it required? Absolutely not! But, if your package is lost, damaged, or stolen we will replace it. Shipping carriers do provide their own insurance, but that process has been a difficult one to process.
