The days of making your beard feel like a bunch of porcupine quills after a shower are finally over. For too long, men have used shampoos in order to clean their facial fur, leaving their beards dry. This is because shampoos can commonly contain detergents which are great for cleaning your hair, but can remove natural oils needed to keep your beard soft. To combat this, bearded maniacs across the world began washing their beards with conditioners, or what is now commonly referred to as "Co-Wash" or "Co-Washing". Well, at Beard Octane, we do what we always do and took the art of beard washing to the next level.

Beard Octane is proud to introduce it's Lather Conditioning Wash! Beard Octane's Lather Conditioning Wash (LCW) is specifically designed to moisturize, lather and cleanse your beard like no other. LCW will devour your beard entirely with it's heavy Lathering properties, force-feeding it with moisture throughout. LCW comes in an eight (8) ounce bottle with a twist top.

We only test our products on Humans, NOT Animals (although some consider us animals). Our products may contain Tree Nut Oils & Natural Botanicals. All of our products are Phthalate Free. If you have allergies, consult with your physician before testing on yourself or on your friend...because they may have allergies also.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. While in the shower, or under an ever-so-majestic waterfall out in the wild, place a few dabs of LCW into the palm of your hand (does not matter which hand, as they are both strong). 2. Take those dabs of LCW and scrub them into your manly beard. Be sure to massage LCW into your skin and throughout your beard hair. 3. Once your beard is completely lathered up, allow to remain in beard for at least a minute. 4. Rinse LCW from your beard and stand in front of the mirror...only to admire the greatness on your face that you call a beard.

Best Beard Washes Period
First off this cold start scent is amazing. This about being in a spa/steam room where you spray eucalyptus to open your nasal system. This same scent brings that mental feeling of relaxation, along with a ever so slight cold beard tingle.
Secondly, if you're on the fence about getting one of these lather co washes just buy a couple already and you won't regret it. These washes clean my beard completely out, but are conditioning enough they come out baby smooth and soft. Put beard oil in right away after showing and brush it out and you have a refreshed beard every day you do this. I've had multiple scents and while every scent has smelled exactly as you'd expect, I also generally like the scent to mostly leave after washing out, or be really faint. The ones that are like this that I've tried are cold start, ginger jamboree, and barbershop. As long as these scents are around, and beard octane still in business, these three scents will always be in my rotation. The other scents I've tried, that I love the smell of in the shower, but stick around after and compete with any beard oil you use are envy and downshift.

I use the Co Wash daily in my beard. It’s gentle but does a nice job of cleaning and conditioning my beard. This is my first time trying the Cold Start scent. If you have allergies or sinus issues this is the deal. It definitely opens up your nose in the shower. Good stuff.
