RULES - HOW TO ENTER

1. NO PURCHASE NECCESSARY

2. ELIGIBILITY:  This contest is open to individuals aged 18 and above who possess a natural beard. Must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada. Contest is not open to Beard Octane Employees, Affiliates, Wholesalers, or the immediate family members of these.

3. SUBMISSION PERIOD:  The contest submission period starts on Friday, September 27th and ends on Sunday, October 27th at 8pm EST. 

4. HOW TO ENTER (2 WAYS):

(1) Upload your Most Majestic Beard Photograph to the Gallery directly above.

-OR-

(2) Post your Most Majestic Beard Photograph on Instagram with the following Hashtags:
#BEARDTOBER2024 & #BEARDOCTANE *YOU MUST USE BOTH HASHTAGS!

* SUBMISSIONS MAY TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS FOR APPROVAL, THEY ARE NOT AUTOMATIC!

5. BEARD CRITERIA: (a) Beards of all lengths, shapes, sizes, and styles are welcome. (b) The submitted beard must be natural and grown by the contestant. (c) Fake or synthetic facial hair is not allowed. (d) No AI Generated photography, backgrounds or 'art' of your beard are allowed. (e) Photos including obvious competing brand placements will be disqualified.

6. MULTIPLE ENTIRES:  Each contestant may submit ONLY ONE (1) PHOTOGRAPH to the contest, so make sure you submit your Best Glamour Shot! Extra entries will not be displayed.

7. PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: Photos must be clear, well-lit, and high-resolution. Do not use filters or heavy editing that alters the appears of the beard. The altering of photos may lead to entry disqualification. 

8. JUDGING: (a) All submissions/entries are automatically displayed on this gallery. (b) All submissions/entries are automatically entered into the “People’s Choice Award”, which is voted on by the Public. (c) All submissions/entries are additionally automatically entered into more specific Contest Categories; Best Beard Under 6”, Best Beard Over 6”, Most Decorative Beard & Best Beard Overall.

9. PRIZES: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Beard Octane is not responsible for any malfunction or warranty of any third party prizes.

10. VOTING: Voting by the public will only be allowed for the “PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD”.  To vote, simply cast your vote on the gallery above. Limit 1 vote per person.

11. WINNER NOTIFICATION:  Winners will be announced during our Livestream on the Beard Octane YouTube Channel on Tuesday, October 29th at 8pm EST.  Winners will also be contacted via email/social media to claim their prizes.  Prizes must be claimed by 11/05/24 at midnight EST.

12. RIGHTS: By submitting an entry (direct upload or through tagging on Instagram), participants grant Beard Octane the right to use their submitted photos for promotional purposes.  This includes any public postings, marketing campaigns, or advertising campaigns.

13. DISQUALIFICATION:  Inappropriate or offensive content will result in immediate disqualification.  Beard Octane reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not meet the contest rules.

14. LEGALITIES: This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  This contest is NOT affiliated with or sponsored by the Meta platform, Nintendo, YouTube or Google.
